Serpe Annarosa

Annarosa Serpe is a researcher in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Calabria (UNICAL). She was Professor of Mathematics and Physics in experimental high schools until 2002 covering also the role of Teacher Trainer Supervisor in the SSIS of the UNICAL.
For several years she has been involved in the training of teachers in information technology; she perfected her studies at the University of Florence (Italy) at the Laboratory of Educational Technologies in "Methods and Techniques of Training Network” covering, also, the role of Peer Review .
Since 1999 Annarosa has collaborated with the Center for Didactic Research (CIRD) of the UNICAL on innovative projects of action research and since 2002 she has been teaching on the Degree Course in Primary Education at the UNICAL. From 2005 to 2009 she taught at the SSIS.
She has gained professional experience at national and European level covering, among other things, the role of teaching expert at the Ministry of University Education and Research (MIUR) in the field "New Technologies and Training - Computer and Technology skill" and the role of trainer for INDIRE in the Plan for Staff Training in the Primary School DM 61/2003.
She carries out scientific research in the teaching of mathematics, with particular reference to the use of the computer as a tool for programming, and is the author of several publications and co-author of two multimedia software packages for teaching and learning in primary schools.
She is a member of the European Mathematical Society (EMS), the National Institute of High Mathematics (INDAM), the National Group of Scientific Computing (GNCS), the Italian Mathematical Union (UMI), the Ministry of Education Register of Auditors for the evaluation research projects and the Italian Association for Research in Mathematics Education (AIRDM).

Annarosa Serpe è ricercatrice nel Dipartimento di Matematica e Informatica dell’Università della Calabria (UNICAL). Ha insegnato Matematica e Fisica nei licei sperimentali fino al 2002 ricoprendo, anche, il ruolo di docente Supervisore di Tirocinio nella SSIS dell’UNICAL.
Si occupa, da diversi anni, di formazione degli insegnanti nell’ambito delle tecnologie ed ha perfezionato i suoi studi in “Metodi e Tecniche della Formazione in Rete” nel Laboratorio di Tecnologie dell’Educazione dell’Università di Firenze ricoprendo, anche, il ruolo di Peer Review.
Ha maturato numerose esperienze professionali a livello nazionale ed europeo, ricoprendo tra l’altro, il ruolo di docente esperto presso il MIUR nel settore “Nuove Tecnologie e Formazione - Competenze Informatiche e Tecnologiche” e il ruolo di formatore per l’INDIRE nel Piano di Formazione del Personale della scuola Primaria D.M. 61/2003.
Svolge ricerca scientifica nell’ambito della didattica della Matematica, con particolare riferimento all’uso del computer, come strumento da programmare; è autrice di numerose pubblicazioni e coautrice di due software multimediali per l’insegnamento-apprendimento nella scuola Primaria.
Dal 2005 al 2009 ha insegnato nella SSIS, dal 2002 insegna nel Corso di Laurea in Scienze della Formazione Primaria e dal 1999 collabora con il Centro Interdipartimentale di Ricerca Didattica (CIRD) dell’UNICAL nell’ambito di progetti innovativi di ricerca-azione.
E’ membro dell’European Mathematical Society (EMS), dell’Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica (INDAM), del Gruppo Nazionale Calcolo Scientifico (GNCS), dell’Unione Matematici Italiani (UMI), dell’Albo dei Revisori MIUR per la valutazione dei progetti di ricerca e dell’Associazione Italiana di Ricerca in Didattica della Matematica (AIRDM).
